Tee Time Web Scraping in Python with text and email notification

[login to view URL] Construct a python script to check for tee times that are within certain data parameters namely: Date Time window Minimum Number of players (1-4) Booking class Update frequency (i.e. once every 10 minutes) If there is an available time that meets the specified criteria the script would send texts and emails to a specified list of recipients (need ability to select from a library and add/delete from the library). Simple (no frills) web browser interface to enter parameters and que requests. This would be best if things could be entered on a client phone/computer and run on a server which contained the python program. It would be deal if there were a way to actually book the available time – however the web site uses a Captcha feature to discourage the use of bots. The Captcha feature only presents itself once a user attempts to actually book a time. Thus simply “sniffing” does not require a Captcha interaction. Execution of booking would be preferable if there are ways around Captcha and could be included in the scope. Phase 1 - Function flawlessly as for a single golf course for up to 4 users. Charge a monthly feed for users to enter parameters on their phone / web browers Run their requests on a server. There are approximately 20,000 golf courses in the United States (private and public) and about 40,000 world wide. Many of them have online tee time booking AND more demand than supply for certain times of day and days of the week (i.e. weekend mornings, Friday afternoons, Holidays, etc.) – this is the target market. Every golfer I know would gladly pay a monthly fee to have a bot troll for tee times @ their favorite courses and notify them if one is available that meets their criteria. In the specific case of the course targeted in phase 1 tee times are released @ 6AM 2 weeks prior and the desirable times are gone in a matter of seconds – there are literally 1,000s of circumstances like this across the country. There is a potentially massive opportunity for the right person. For Phase 1 I just need someone to spend a few hours and bang out some code to solve my own problem and upgrade my ability to get tee times I want. For Phase 2 I would be looking for a business partner that would have ownership interest in the product that we sell to the golf community. Phase 3 would be to expand into other areas which essentially is anything offered online that people cancel: dinner reservations appointments etc. Chris
