I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. I would like to work on your project, but I really need same/more info about. The process of launching a new product is pretty much the following: 1 - assessment of the novelty and technical solutions 2 - rough modeling of the product 3 - parametric modeling based on the observations/adjustments/changes on the previous point (this will be the virtual prototype) 4 - first (functional) prototype - usually (if possible) 3d printed 5 - analyzing the functional prototype to see if it behave as expected, what could be improved/changed/make it cost effective 6 - redesigning the model for series zero or mass production I could carry out all of the tasks but will be necessary a larger discussion...
