We are looking for someone at best with an electrical engineering background and expertise in the field of production and quality management. We are a small trading company producing customer-specific electronics (displays, touch panels, PCBs and such) in Asia. Even tough we have good partners and do everything to avoid mistakes, we can't prevent quality issues from happening. In these cases we need someone who can pose the right questions and can help figure out with the supplier and the customer where exactly in the production process the mistake has happened. This person must also be able to write an 8D-report or to review it and add the missing data. In the end the goal is to avoid this specific mistake from happening and to satisfy the customer. But also it is important that the supplier doesn't lose its face and that the relationship is smooth for the future cooperation.
