We are developing a product kind of social media, where young age people can signup and earn points based on the attempt of the survey of business ideas and some quizzes related to business/products. It's kind of a making different world for them and gets the more real-world idea where they are lacking. They can share their articles on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter. The existing team is busy in developing next features. Is there anyone who can upgrade the whole application from rails 4.2 to 5.1, We already have test cases for 70% of the functionality. So first we need to complete the test cases and then we can move ahead for migration. First, we have some small fixes, if you can solve that then we will go ahead for at least 6-8 months. Please include answers to the following question. What are SOLID principles in rails? How much you familiar with that? How much are you familiar with Active Admin? How much are you good at scheduler and Sidekiq?

I have experience upgrading a rails app from 4 to 5.1 and also changing the database for that app from MySql to Postgresql. In addition I have upgraded several apps from rails 3 to rails 4 so I am familiar with upgrades in general. I practice test driven development and make use of rspec and factorygirl. I am familiar with SOLID in rails and try to practice that approach by using service objects, form objects, and other helper objects where necessary To be honest: I have experience with sidekiq having used in a project with action cable. where support workers where assigned in the background based on requests made by clients. I've neverr used scheduler. I also have experience using rails-admin, but not active-admin. although I don't think it would be hard for me to learn what I need with either of these. .
