Junior sales engineer to assist me with sales campaigns for certain products in different countries, agreed budgets and deliverables will be set out in the beginning. JOB DESCRIPTION STR-Job Description-Junior Sales Engineer Contract/Part time/Project Based Introduction An opportunity to join a growing business as a sales engineer on project basis with the potential of transferring into a full time role based on performance. The role will involve travelling to different countries and interfacing with different clients. Location Remote work with the occasional commute to London office for face to face meetings with management Expected to travel depending on assignment or project Key Attributes Self motivated, and quick learner Active, ambitious, and dynamic Confident and able to take the lead in their role with minimum supervision Understanding of projects’ requirements, management, and clients’ needs Ability to translate customers’ feedback into clear actionable items Excellent people and communications skills, both verbal and written Well-organised, has the ability to multitask, adapt to change and meet deadlines; whilst remaining calm under pressure Responsibilities Lead on identified project or assignment execution as agreed with management Interface with customers and respond to customer queries Initiate contact with potential clients and maintain contact with current clients. Organise and attend product demonstrations and customer meetings Attend industry functions; provide feedback and information on market trends Support management with project requirements Generate trip reports, client reports, and customer presentations Effectively communicate technical and commercial customer-specific requirements and priorities to management, clients, and project stakeholders Perform administrative tasks such as invoicing, project setup on company portal, and excel reports. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in dealings with staff and external contacts at all times Qualifications University degree preferable Engineering discipline is a plus Computer literate and ability to work with MS Office easily especially PowerPoint, & ExcelAbility to understand engineering drawings, AutoCAD knowledge is a plus Ability to generate good business reports and slides for customers.
