Add an affiliate program to a static html site

I have a very old school website, all done in html. For accepting payments I'm using paypal buy now buttons. I would like to add my own inhouse affiliate program to the site. So that people can sign up to become affiliates to promote the products I sell. Something similar to scripts online such as: idev-affiliate, or Post Affiliate Pro. So that would be basically a script that runs on the site and that manages the whole affiliate program. ===>> OPTION 1: I have something basic set up that is basically installed. It's a script called: Affiliate Pro 1.7. We got it installed. Affiliates can sign up and it appears to function correct. But we couldn't get it integrated correctly. So we couldn't get it to track sales. So I don't know if the script itself is no good, or if it wasn't integrated correctedly. (so this is one option to explore still) ===>> OPTION 2: If you have some other type of script that you've already installed that works we could use that. It would have to be something that works both on a static html site running paypal for the ordering. You can decide how you want to do it. I'm not a programmer. I have basic web design skills and can give you some help. It just has to work. So please only bid if you "actually can do this" and have done this before.
