Development of automated payment processing devices: Sr. Software Engineer and Embedded Engineer wanted

Development of new coin changer for the global vending markets. Development of new bill validator for use in banking industry. We a looking for: Embedded Engineer: Development, debugging and improvement of software and hardware for various test equipment. Investigation of various production and field issues and product failures. Development, debugging and improvement of the firmware for Bill Validators testing fixtures and software simulators. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve various electronic software and hardware problems. Implement and deploy change requests and enhancements to further improve the existing equipment. Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of embedded and computer-based systems. Business trips. Requirements: • Good knowledge of ANSI C for Embedded Systems. • Understanding Embedded Systems development toolchain • Embedded Systems debugging and troubleshooting experience • Hands on experience and knowledge of embedded microcontrollers architectures such as ARM Cortex-M4, ARM Cortex-A9, including software development for these microcontrollers or similar. • Knowledge of interfaces/protocols: I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS232 or similar type of communication protocols, • Experience with source control systems and code review process • Understanding international development process and inter-team cooperation • Experience with a task tracking systems, task estimations and time tracking. • Understanding digital electronics and ability to read schematics, analog electronics is a big plus but not obligatory • Experience with FPGA is an asset • Understanding blue prints, engineering drawings and familiarity with PCBs • Experience with measurement instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope). Basic soldering skills. • Basic experience with electronic CAD system is an asset. Sr. Software Engineer: Support and modifying existing code in C++, C# and some Java. Create and modify C# code using .NET Core framework. Ability to code in C++ for cross-platform code for Linux, Windows. Design unit tests using xUnit architecture Design and support SQL database (SQL Lite). Write RESTful web services. Actively use Perforce version control system. Work with JIRA issue tracking system. Preparation of written design, specification, and verification documents. Help QA engineer to write test cases, checklists and test plans. Requirements: [login to view URL] Degree in Software or Electrical engineering 5+ years of C#, ASP.NET and Java experience. .NET core desirable. 5+ years of cross-platform experience in C++ Experience in Linux platform development desirable. Outstanding knowledge of software design patterns Knowledge of USB, Serial and network protocols Experience using software development tools and environments including MS Visual Studio, Eclipse IDE Cloud computing and Web development experience is asset Design unit tests using xUnit architecture Support and modifying existing code in C++, C# and Java Experience with SQL databases (SQL Lite). Entity framework experience desirable. Good communication skills in English is a must
