VB.NET TCP/IP Communications

I have created an application in vb.net that used TCP/IP communication to transmit data over local network. Basically , it was Quiz/Conference application where Administrator pushes question,images etc to client computer at run time . Looking forward to have a chat with you to discuss further.

But i have couple of questions. 1) Which type of file you want to share between clients? 2) What will be average file size of it? 3) Whether transfer will over local connection or over the internet? 4) How we get the clients whom to send? 5) Does receiver will receive it automatically?
