Application to display and edit (dynamically) Fields of 2 tables.
The tables tbl_asset and tbl_equipment are shown in a datagrid with 1:n relation (linked by Key Fields COMPANYCODE ASSET, SUBNUMBER).
Related entries of tbl_equipment to be listed under tbl_asset entries.
Option to hide tbl_equipment records in display.
Filter Options by single or multiple existing values of these fields: ASSETCLASS, AISO_STATUS, ROOM, COSTCENTER, COMPANYCODE, INVENTORY_RUN_ID
Additional filter by date for field XDATE.
Databinding allowing bigger number of entries (eg. Up to 1.000.000 entries) to be displayed with acceptable performance (especially when using MS SQL)
Rows to be displayed can be defined (by control table tbl_asset_config):
tbl_asset_config-pos : position of row in list display
tbl_asset_config-field: field of table tbl_asset
tbl_asset_config-display: flag if displayed
tbl_asset_config-htext: header text
tbl_asset_config-fwidth: width (but rows can be adjusted manually at runtime)
tbl_asset_config-readonly: read only (or edit)
tbl_asset_config-equipmentfield: field of tbl_equipment (if entries of this table are not hidden)
Single lines can be colorized depending on status (field AISO_STATUS).
Sorting (up and down) for each row

Access to mdb by ODBC.
This Application must also run with MS SQL Server!
There is already an existing application available for your reference.

Milestones:
1.) WPF Application, listing at least table tbl_asset with correct binding and access by ODBC, also working for MS SQL.
2.) Link 2nd table tbl_equipment
3.) Implement control table tbl_asset_config to change layout of table view (rows, width etc).
4.) Apply filter as described, incl. sorting by rows
