I've over 9 years of experience in the SQL Server space, with numerous years working on SSIS ETL - working across different versions of SQL server starting from 2008 R2 all the way up to the latest SQL Azure / SQL Server 2016. Work on SSIS involved building SSIS projects to load data-warehouse solutions , reading from flat files, XML files using third party adapters like Cozyroc etc to work with other kinds of data sources. Expertise in dealing with slowly changing dimensions, coming up with solutions which are "less time consuming" , efficient and error free - especially since SSIS is known to have performance issues. Worked with Event handlers for email notifications on package failure , deployment of SSIS Projects into Catalog , using parameters and variables in SSIS , configuring DB connection strings , SQL Agent service , and setting up SQL Agent jobs to run SSIS packages. Setting up Proxy accounts to run SQL Agent jobs. My T-SQL programming skills are advanced, efficiently able to write complex Joins, SubQueries , CTEs , error handling in stored procedures, recursive queries and CTEs , I've worked with querying heirarchical data structures using recursive CTEs.
