Freelance Report Author/Analyst - Telecoms/Internet

Key Requirements Juniper is looking to expand its range of analyst reports and wishes to commission a number of freelance analyst/report writers to produce a range of new reports. The role requires the author to research a particular telecoms/mobile/internet area and develop an understanding of the dynamics and opportunities in that sector - via secondary research as well as telephone interviews with executives in the field. Producing a useful set of market forecasts (with the assistance of an in-house expert) is also an essential part of the work. Preferred Skills & Experience Knowledge & Skills o Knowledge of telecoms or mobile sectors o Excellent written and numerate skills o Analytical skills with the ability to understand and communicate effectively complex markets, products, technologies and ideas o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research Personal attributes o Organised, productive, and be able to work to deadlines o Quality conscious with attention to detail o Able to take responsibility, ownership of a project o Excellent communication skills – written & verbal o Enthusiastic and self motivated Location: UK. Home based with ocassional meetings at the Juniper office in Basingstoke.
