Graphs and charts animations

I am a front-end developer and not so much in the knowledge of animations especially when it comes to professional diagrams and graphs animations. This is where I need your help.
The question is: The clients wants most of the animation to happen when the user enter the page or scroll-down to the section in the page where the graph is... is this possible with after effects? The graphs and charts are originally taken from a print brochure and will be supplied in InDesign roar file.
