This is Bogdan from Romania.
I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too).
I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc.
I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch.
1 - i had a look at the github repository, and the model is more delicate than it looks like on the first sight, but it is doable :)
2 - in order to get you the proper x_t (and any other cad format - iges, step, sat, obj, and the 3d pdf) will be necessary to recreate the model in a parametric way - just converting the stl will be a waste of time...
