418374 Unique Logo Design Required

Looking for someone to design a high impact, unique logo for my client. The company name is TechBike. TechBike provides motorcycle support to cycle races across the world. They provide what is called neutral service - they follow the cycle race and if a competitor has a puncture or a mechanical breakdown the motorcycle will ride rapidly to that person no matter what team they are on, fix their bike and enable them to get back into the race. The motorcycle will carry all sorts of spares, chains, sprockets and has a special rack on the back of the bike to carry wheels. [login to view URL] Looking for a simple but clever design, with maximum impact. It'll need to portray exactly what the company does. No clip art or stock images - this needs to be a uniquely designed and very bold logo. Finished logo will be printed onto T-Shirts and graphics for motorcycles so it can't be too detailed. You'll need to use the company name TechBike in the logo together with some sort of brand symbol to represent what the organisation does. Perhaps a sprocket or a spanner. Client isn't looking for a full image of a motorcycle - just something to represent the mechanical work that they do. Looking for a logo similar (in terms of impact) to the Alpinestars (do a google images search for alpinestars) logo but perhaps using a sprocket or some a cog/gear of some sort. My client likes the boldness of the alpinestars logo and the style of font used. Designer has complete creative freedom. Any colour can be used, it can be text only or with a graphic of some sort - just hit us with some fantastic designs. As i said it must be unique, absolutely no clip art - you'll need to design this from scratch. Simple, bold and nothing too fussy. If you're successful in your bid, we'll be looking for a good number of concepts to choose from. Once we are happy, we'll pick one and expect you to deliver it in Adobe Illustrator format.
