Import Coupon-Codes by CSV and API to a WordPress database

Projekt Beskrivelse: 1. Description: The project is a script that daily import new voucher codes and update existing Coupon Codes to a Wordpress database. You get the coupon codes from different affiliate networks in XML, CSV, and via API. (See below). The Attributes related to a coupon code such as End date, URL, title, etc, are stored in WordPress Custom Fields and standard post-data fields. The corresponding custom fields are already created in the database. • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] The project should preferably be programmed in classic PHP, but can also be implemented by using a PHP framework like Zend 2 or Symfony 2. 2. Tasks • config file (database data, host, voucher file urls, etc.) • config file (mapping of data fields of the voucher-code files to the DB data fields - Custom Fields - with possibility to change the mapping through drop-down menus). An overview of how and what needs to be mapped already exists. • Daily Importing coupons from 4 different affiliate networks in a WordPress database (cronjob) • Addition of new coupon codes • Selective Updating already imported coupon codes using the coupon ID (Data Flieds that needs to be updated are end date, start date, coupon code, Title, Description) • Change and harmonizing the original attributes of a voucher-Code before importing. An Excel document that brings the data from the various affiliate networks to one format (eg date format, coupon ID, Ref-URL, etc.) allready • The excel file, will be given after the award. The Excel formulas show you how the data needs to be transformed, converted, shortened or completed.
