H i there. My business operates three e-commerce websites (and an Ebay account) in Australia and we are looking to expand into the USA in 2017. I am a one-person business and I need to spend most of my time manufacturing the products and dealing with freight companies. Therefore I need an Assistant. Your role will include (but is not limited to) -
Client Service
1. Basic accounts - enter customer orders into Xero and send invoices to clients.
2. Generate freight labels using online freight system and email to me.
3. Research customer locations and ensure freight is calculated correctly.
4. Respond to customer requests for quotations.
5. Monitor Ebay account and monitor competitors on Ebay.
6. Respond to client emails on Ebay.
7. Reply to customer emails
Advertising
1. Monitor Google Ads account and suggest improvements.
2. Establish Google Shopping accounts.
3. Manage Facebook page - join groups, respond to contacts etc.
4. Establish Google Ads account.
5. Manage presence on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc.
Webdesign
1. Monitor Wordpress websites - update plugins etc.
2. Design basic Wordpress websites from scratch or free templates.
3. Source or write content as necessary.
4. Design some basic graphics, although you are not expected to be an artist.
5. Upload websites using CPanel.
Sales
1. Research potential wholesale clients in Australia and email market to them.
Corporate
1. Compile an Operations Manual for the business.
Basically I am looking for someone who has great written English and some experience in performing the tasks outlined above. For example, if you are a Wordpress expert but have never heard of Xero, that's fine we can arrange training. Likewise a person who is a Facebook guru but has never done Google Shopping would also be OK.
I am looking for someone who can work full time (say 40 hours per week) but I am only offering 30 hours per week to start because I don't want to over-promise. Likewise I am happy for you to plan your own hours between 8am and 9pm Sydney time, but I would prefer if you can work between 8am and 1pm Sydney time. Let me know your situation and we can negotiate the actual hours. All hours will need to be worked using the Freelancer monitoring system. Please do not under quote just to get an interview as that will be considered extremely poorly.
The work will start in mid-January 2017.
