Some context: for the first time I had to curate logo contest on behalf of somebody else, was assisting my friend who is not familiar with Freelancer. Thus, had to choose a contestant which would not have been my first choice. The primary issue which became quite a serious obstacle in getting what we needed was level of English. Even trying to explain some simple requests, like making some specific part of the ship to be smaller became an effort requiring tremendous patience. At some point, I understood that we will not be able to achieve much and asked whether Md Setaour has a friend who can assist with communication. Which he had invited to join and this has helped tremendously. Second issue, was not meeting the standard for quality of design in general. You could argue I set high standard, yet as an example - one of the problems was that the same elements of the ship in the logo were made in different proportions and I had to repeatedly ask to make the gaps (nevermind what kind) to be the same styling and size. I understand that every graphics designer is at some level of skill in every aspect and I try to not judge as much as possible - each buyer should select a freelancer according to their needs. I believe Md Setaour might fully satisfy someone else's design needs. The good part - Md Setaour responded to each request, which there were many and never refused to implement some change, again and again; and I think he is a kind person in general.
