I'm a semi-retired technology industry manager who began his career at Microsoft in the 1980's (part of the original team that wrote Windows). I attended Harvard and Carnegie Mellon University. I sold my first software company in the mid 1990's, and have since managed projects in robotics and aerospace as well as software technology, I've also mentored startups as advisor or Board member (in USA, India, and mainland China). I'm skilled at business plan development, plan writing, and coaching. During my career I have implemented several product development initiatives in the Seattle area as well as directly from India. Sometimes I have resided in India for months at a time. So, I am especially adept at managing non-US teams and freelancers. I reside in Washington State and Thailand nowadays, and I still travel frequently to India, China, the Middle East, and Europe.
NOTE: I want to build up a project history (and I also simply want to keep busy) so I am considering just about anything that fits my skillset.
