I was recently laid off after 19 years with the same company, holding two different positions, one being a Quality Assurance Specialist. For this position I wrote grants for a behavioral health agency, conducted and wrote investigative conclusions for state regulators, and provided editing and proofreading of all incident reports, approving and finalizing them before they could be entered into the system. My other position involved researching, writing, and implementing behavior support plans for individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges, which then became part of their overall treatment plan. (I apologize, these are confidential and I'm unable to include them in my portfolio.)
Biggest fault? I'm a perfectionist and demand perfection of myself, but I'm making it work. I love the written word, but hate bad writing, misspelled words, and grammatical errors. If I don't know something I'll figure it out, no matter what it takes. If you're not happy, I'm not happy!
