Alternative Care MIS, Ethiopia.
ACMIS is web based MIS application software designed for UNICEF Ethiopia during 2011 - 2012. This application is developed to consolidate and report the data collected during the Identification, Documentation, Family Tracing and Reunification (IDFTR) process for the children in Institutional care in Ethiopia. The statistical data of the vulnerable children are collected and recorded in the centralized database server installed in national capital. Reports containing several international indicators and other custom reports are generated for analysis and further action. A windows based offline application is also designed for the data entry purpose in rural areas where there is no feasibility of internet connection; later this data can be synchronized with the centralized server once connectivity is made available. These applications are designed in C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC and MS SQLServer 2008.
