Design a Logo for a Construction Company

I need a logo design for a new building/construction company that builds new and modern houses (not buildings).

NOTE: Please submit design flat on white background. You may include a mockup as well if you like but this is not essential.

The company is called Jacaranda Developments. It will require the words 'Jacaranda Developments' to be included in the logo and some sort of icon. I have attached some logo inspiration in the zip file below as well as examples of the jacaranda.

The jacaranda is an Australian tree that has a purple flower so it could be good to incorporate the purple colour and tree in some way but this is not essential. Colours could be purple and black but this is also not essential either.

Please think architecture, houses, construction, development, building, etc. I am looking for something of high quality that is modern, minimal and professional.

ADDITIONAL EDIT: While some of the current logo entries are great, a lot feel a little dated and old. I am looking for something modern, fresh and strong. Thanks
