I’m looking for a professional and creative designer who can design a logo for a VIDEO GAME. Please note that it’s NOT for a company. I will give you some information about the theme and main features of the game and you can use either one or combinations of them to design the logo.

*** please read all the criteria before designing, they are very important for us ***

Main features that you can use for logo.
- The games name is “ The Sojourn “ . its ok to use super small “the” but don’t omit it.
- The name “sojourn” means temporary stay and resemble our lives in this world which is short and will end one day.
- The game is about different chapters of life of a person from birth to understanding deep meanings in life, and the game becomes darker and darker as it goes on.
- The game has a rather deep meaning and art style and is not for little kids.
- The visuals and feelings of the game is rather serious and have philosophical/social message.
- We have 2 kinds of flying spirits in the game. One of them is white ( good things) and another one is dark with hints of purple ( bad things )
- The game has a dark alternative ( parallel ) world that player can enter. It’s like saying we have a normal/white world and a dark one.
- We have shattering effects in the game, where shapes will be shattered to small pieces while flowing around. This happens in dark world that I mentioned above.
- The gameplay of the game is not ACTION or horror. its a calm adventure/puzzle game. DON'T use any elements from these genres, I'm just saying this to let you know we have a rather calm and slow atmosphere in the game.

Things you should consider when designing the logo
- It’s for a video game not a company. We are NOT using it for business cards and such we will use it on the game poster, key art, website, T-shirt and other designs.
- We want a rather elegant and meaningful design
- We want the design to be VERY memorable and distinctive while being rather simple.
- We want the design to be horizontal based. DO not go for vertical designs.
- Its ok to use typography ( almost all kinds of approaches are welcome ) but be creative.
- Do NOT go overboard with lots of different ideas in ONE single design. Try to be efficient and clean.
- We do NOT want it to be very cheerful, sweet, cartoony or cute.
- The game is targeted for PC and consoles, not mobile devices.
- We do NOT want it to be messy, super detailed and dense like RPG/magical games.
- We do NOT want you to use an initial alone. ( playing with the whole name is totally fine )
- Subtle color variations are fine but don’t go for something colorful.

As you can see there are LOTS of rooms for design. Please be as creative as you can, that’s our first priority.

I've also attached a rar file. you can find different game logos that we like. Don’t limit yourself but they give you a good idea about what we want and HOW we will use them. you can also find a screenshot of our spirits in there.
We also have some initial test in the rar file that we think are not in good quality. So you have to do much better than those.

This is an interesting concept of a game. I could see you tried a few logos. they look creative already. Why didn t you like them?

  They were mostly too detailed. and we didn't play with typography a lot. additionally their idea were like draft at some point. they weren't CLEAN enough.
