Creative Brief – Crunchits
What is the objective of this brief?
To create a social media idea that is focussed around “The Jiggle” which will be used to inform the tone of voice for the Crunchits brand.
Background?
As the name would suggest, Crunchits are crunchy savoury snacks. They come in three flavours: Thai Chilli, Sizzling BBQ and Teriyaki. They are a mixture of puffed rice, black beans and edamame beans. Healthy real ingredients bundled together for a crunchy punch of deliciousness. And only 93 calories a bag.
But who are we really?
At Crunchits, we see ourselves as the love child of Graze and Sensations. Fun and moreish but without the guilt.
Our enemy is everything and anything that is boring. We are cheeky with a slight edge – but never arrogant.
Our product is here to make you Jiggle. What is jiggle we hear you ask?
To put it simply... it is that little bit of joy that brightens your day. That fiver you find on the street, the first sip of beer after a long day, that little bit of something-something, that brightens your day.
That is how we see ourselves… but do our customers? The Jiggle is our favourite thing, we do a weekly jiggle newsletter which is full of facts/jokes of the day to make you smile but we think there is so much more we can do with it.
So far we have been using it in our general comms but is there a bigger and better way to bring this to life and give it more meaning to our customer base?

Crunchits are big balls of crunch with a whack of flavour
What do we want people to think, feel or do as a consequence of this activity?
Feel a tummy rumble and excitement to try Crunchits and do their own jiggle
What tone should we adopt?
Cheeky, confident and edgy – these are snacks with attitude, not afraid to break the mould. ‘Get your Jiggle on’.
