580 USD for a logo for an upcoming brand

Upcoming brand "Jungle Popcorn". A competition about creating our new brand logo. The product type will be chocolate covered toffee popcorn. We are now in need of a vibrant fictional illustration, the main character should be a happy excited monkey/ape/gorilla going bananas over the chocolate covered popcorn. We want the logo to be in a round frame.

A note to all contestants:

Use the images attached in the project description as a guide related to the overall atmosphere, not necessarily as the guide for the logo's final look. It should have the vibrant lively colours, but it should be stripped of tiny details and not be overcrowded with animal characters. As noted in the initial description - it should feature the monkey (an ape) going crazy (nuts, bananas) over the popcorns.

Keep in mind that this is going to be used as a print. In most cases, it will be printed as a 7 cm radius circular sticker, so any tiny detail you add to the logo will either be too small to print and/or notice.

It's the same with colours and gradients. Try to refrain from gradients whatsoever, these will just be a headache to print while being too small to notice. Keep your artwork within the printable (CMYK) colour space.

Put an effort in creating the logo that conveys the desired look and feel while creating it out of distinct single colour objects and legible lettering (this doesn't mean you should use sans serif typeface).

Do not use clip art of any kind - we're not into infringing anyone's copy rights! If you find any piece of clip art super suitable for your logo, please recreate it in your own way.

      Thing is, there are a lot of "designers" who have decided on their own that others are using clipart without actually knowing what they're talking about. Every element that LOOKS like clipart isn't necessarily clipart. I know that from experience.
