We are looking to rebrand our Print Company and have decided to change the name.
Our current name Is "The Disc & Print Centre"

What We Do:
General Printing: Posters, Flyers, Business Cards, Reports, Print Finishing Etc
Signage: Banners, Signs, Displays, Large format Printing Etc. Etc
CD Duplication : Burning, Jewel Cases, card wallet, Digipaks, CD Printing Etc. etc.

We have decided to change the name to "Airside Print", possibly running the printing side under "Airside Print" and the CD Duplication under "Airside Duplication". Both logos will look the same with just the last words changed, and different colour to each other.

Our Office is in a business park call, "Airport Business Park" located right beside an Airport.
I have decided on "Airside Print" & "Airside Duplication" as a play on the whole Airport and aviation theme.

We are looking for a clean modern design, if multi colours/gradients are being used it will also need to be usable as 1/2 colour version.

As part of the content, mockups of the new logo are needed, letterheads, Compliment slips.
We don't just want to see a logo, we want to see the entries putting a brand together for us.

On final hand over of the winning entry we will require all the design files, fonts, colour scheme and design element for us to use in-house.

Come on designers, lets thing outside the box.

******UPDATE TO CONTEST******

As no one seems to be looking at some of the comments on the comments section I'll post the update here!!

1. In the description I stated that I didn't want to see just a logo, I wanted to see it built up as a brand. As we all know a brand is far more than a logo. I'm looking to see how some of the logos would look on Cards, letterheads etc etc etc..

2. Feel free to submit designs other than Airplane icons!! I'm open to see characters as part of the logo, something quirky, maybe not as serious or corporate as some of the designs. We are liking the colour combinations that some have been submitting. Blue/Grey, Blue/Green, Green/light Green, Blue/Light blue. Thanks to all the designers who have gone to the effort of submitting their designs, much appricated.

3. I'm yet to see any entries who have some what built a visual of a brand around their proposed logo. The winning contest entry will be asked to finish off and develop the full brand for us i.e, stationery, vans, social media banners etc etc. This will extra paid work, but its hard to see a brand from just a logo!! Most logos always look cool when they are rendered with loads of effects, but a logo isnt a brand on its own!!

I notice a lot of designers are copying other designers, every entry seems to have a similar feel, some better than others. I do like the airplane theme but let not forget we are a PRINTERS not a airport. I may have to extent the contest time frame and if so will be incressing the prize money to attract nore originallity

    I see a comment below by one of the designers stating that some look more like a travel agency rather than a printers!! Can we move away from the whole airplane theme for awhile and start thinking outside the box. I do like some of the the logos with the airplane small. But the logo DOESN'T have to have a airplane. Lets startgetting a little more creative. I also notice a few that have been ripped off other FREE VECTOR sites!!

      totally agree, everyone is going nuts with either a big "AP" or a "airplane" icon. Very few are thinking outside the box and none are showing their entry as a brand
