Design a pram for special needs children

Hi,
I am looking for some assistance in deisgning a pram for special needs children. Through my experience with my son, these prams are so expensive that it is often out of reach for many families. Whilst funding is available, it is hard to get and often won't cover the full cost.
I am looking for an innovative design that can be delivered at a lower than market cost. To give some indiciation, currently these special needs prams retail in the vicinity of $10,000 each.

Please note I am not looking for just a standard pram design or a copy of the above ones. It needs to be innovative and different and able to be offered at a lower price point. Examples of how this could be achieved are the use of standard parts in a different way.
