I want to create a timesheet in excel which will have the columns as follows:

Date

Task

Start Time

End Time

Total Time Taken

The Start Time, End Time and Total Time Taken columns shall be locked, i.e., no one can edit those manually.

How it will work?

A button should be placed for Start Time which would capture the current time so that the time when the task was started can be entered.

Second button will have the same function but it will be for End Time so that the user can capture the time task ended.

Time Taken will be the difference between Start Time and End Time.

Other features required are:

As soon as Start Time button is clicked, it will put the time in next available column under Start Time. Once this is being done, Start Time button shall not work until End Time button is pressed.

The current date should appear in the Date column when Start Time button is pressed. So for example, I start the task and press the Start Time button it will show the current date in that row in Date column.
