I have purchased the website [url removed, login to view] which is an online text based game that lets users start a camp/team and recruit fighters, train them and fight them against other "coaches" online. The game has been active for a few years and databases all of the history in the MYSQL database. The game is written in PHP code and has a bit of layers and detail to it.
I have zero experience in web design or coding but i need someone to come in and make adjustments and additions for me to provide the current game base with a richer experience and for new players to have more to stick around for. It's a fun addicting simple game but it's time to add on to it and i need the help from a coder who understands MYSQL, PHP and general Web Sites.
The first thing i need help with is to set up the game offline for a test version while keeping the current game running online.
I can run you through details and give you examples of the types of files and things i need tweaked, added on to or just what the game uses in general.
