Update a WPF Calendar control to work in a MVVM style

I need the attached calendar control updated, to work more fluidly with my application.
Here are the things that I need done:
Calendar Updates:
Functional
Add a drop down calendar (without the date box)
When you select a month in the drop down calendar it should change the main calendar to that month
As represented in the screen shot (however the week numbers are not needed or wanted)
List View
The toggle buttons should switch from calendar view to list view of the current months appointments
MVVM support
A property for Current Month and Year
A property for a list of appointments
a property for the selected appointment
Graphical
The green buttons are not as nice as I would like
Replace them with something that matches the look and feel of the rest of the screen shots
*Do not add the black border background, that screen shot is there just as an example of acceptable buttons
the appointments in calendar view don't resize correctly if the calendar is smaller
Please ask any questions before biding.
No mile stones will be paid until the complete source code is released.
Any off line (out side of freelancer) will need to be recapped on freelancer and agreed upon.
