We want to skip the step of downloading an app (not everyone knows their apple password) and create a web app for easy initialization.
The client (or a sales person) enters their email address on a web page and receives a unique link. This is the first part of their user id.
The link takes them to our web app on their mobile and their ip address becomes the 2nd part of their user id.
In the app they can quickly take lots of small (low mb) pics.
Then the photos will upload automatically to our server, or if the phone is not online, they will store and upload when back online. Maybe a button to upload manually?
4) Asks client to input name
That's it.
End use.: On our server we would like to compare the pictures (of doors and door handles) to other pictures and put them in categories but that is something for a future project. For now we just need the photos to get working because we can't do site visits and we can go through them by hand once on our server. Another great future feature would be to have a geo data tag with each photo and link that to a map of their facility.
