Machine learning/ AI specif project: Cargo route planner
We are looking for an excellent senior AI/ Machine learning specialist who can help us develop an Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning algorithm to automatically calculate the cargo load for hundreds of trucks and determine which truck are best for which cargo/shipment. This algorithm needs to be scalable. The first version we want to calculate based on trucks' locations and delivery points on how cargo loads best can be planned within the available trucks. The trucks are not located on the same location; also, the algorithm needs to consider multiple shipments and delivery per planned route. The objective is that the work which is now done by cargo planners can be replaced by AI software. The solution needs to calculate the most efficient route, cargo combination, and the truck. In the future, we want to extend factors like the performance of truck drivers, expected traffic jams, road conditions, weather etc.
We are looking for someone who has done this already or did a similar project for this project. To consider your offer, you need to prove that you have done a similar project for route and planning calculation based on AI/ML.
