SLIC is operating from a small home studio producing limited items due to lack of team members to assist with sales and marketing. The funds the brand is seeking will go into hiring a "Brand Manager", this person will be in charge of marketing and communications. Katheryn Hermida will continue to be the creative director and designer. The Brand Manager will assist Katheryn in the business strategy creation and implementation at all levels. After a vision for the creative is understood, a brand manager will maintain the vision through all channels of production, distribution, marketing, and communications. One of the most important responsibilities will be to establish wholesale relationships with high-end streetwear boutiques in main fashion cities like Washington D.C, Portland, L.A., N.Y.C., Paris, London, and Barcelona.
