In a previous life I used to programme, however times have moved on and I now prefer to leave the programming to those that know modern day apps design better than I, so that you can implement them far quicker and cheaper than I could.
Initially I require an Android app, once it has met my expectations I would then like to port it across to also be available on Apple. Ideally it should also run on the various tablets and take advantage of the larger display formats. The application will be free to use for a week and then will be based on a subscription - however, this will be introduced later, once all bugs have been fixed - there's always bugs!
The application is a twist on the existing Vision Board applications, please go and look at "Subliminal Vision Boards" on Android Play store. This software is limited in its capabilities and doesn't do what I need. I require it to instead describe "The perfect day" - the user will create background images from their own pics, or search via google, through the app, they will be able to add peaceful sound tracks to play for each image, gentle ocean, birds in garden, gentle stream, night sounds, or user selected. Similarly, there will be the option to place textual messages written by the user and placed on the background image, the textual messages should be categorised and prompted to include the five senses (Sight, touch/feel, Smell, Taste, Hear) . This will all function similarly to the existing app I have referenced.
The difference being that the user will be able to define a days experience and the various stages, from waking in the morning, breakfast,morning activity,lunch, afternoon activity,dinner,evening activity,bed time. The user will be able to select how much time each image will display before the transition occurs - almost like stepping through a timed powerpoint presentation.
"The perfect day" can be saved and various types of perfect days created and also saved - these should also be shareable to your contacts who also have "The perfect day" app.
Please provide quotations for cost and time, ideally two stages, 1st stage is to produce a rough operational application to make sure you are on the correct path and then to seek feedback before completion on 2nd stage.
This application is not particularly complex for those programmers that know what they are doing and the specification is there for you to see in an existing app - it just has a slight change and twist on the original theme to make it unique.
