Our customers order from us by phone. We use an outside fullfillment house to ship these orders to the customers. We need an online order system by which we can enter the orders online and our fulfillment house can download them, password protected for both us and the fulfillment house. The online form to have used friendly data entry fields. Each order will specify customer's name, address, purchase order number, phone, etc. Customer's bill to address and ship to address. Also drop down menu method of transport ( e.g. our UPS account, or customer's UPS account. Must allow for entry of the transport account number ). And of course the quantity of items ordered ( specified as individual items and as number of cases There are 50 units per case). We sell only one item and process about 100 orders per month.
Instead of entering each customer's bill to and ship to details each time, we need a program that remembers this preloaded data as a drop down menu.
The fullfillment house will daily download the information in csv format, and then place today's orders in a "processed " file along with the transport ( e.g. UPS ) tracking number once the order has been shipped. The fulfillment house uses the csv downloaded info to print a packing slip to send along with each order. The online function enables both us and the fulfillment house to review both current orders, past processed orders, and cancelled orders.
User friendly use is very important.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
