Ajax Forms to Update Wordpress User Profile without refresh

We require someone to create a simple profile page on an existing wordpress installation. The main aspect I need is that users can add/edit/delete and view their profile meta_data using ajax forms in popups.
The forms must submit to the database using AJAX, and the responses must be shown on the page afterwards without page refreshing (this is the same for editing, they must be able to edit a piece of meta data and see the result on the page without reloading it).
We need users to be able to securely add/edit/delete and view their current meta data.
The design of the profile is NOT important - it should be as basic as possible. It is the functionality that matters here.
As an example of what we might need:
1. On a user's profile, they press a button.....
2. Form on popup
3. User enters their information and presses SUBMIT
4. Data is added to the database via AJAX, and added to the profile in the background without page reload (full ajax request).
5. If a user edits their information, they can edit in much the same way as adding data (editting, and viewing the updated information without refreshing the page)
6. The user must be able to add multiple records for a piece of criteria e.g. they can add Languages they Speak, and then add another one on top (creating a new row in the mysql database)
Only 3 or 4 forms need to be created.
