HI there to all the coders... I've written the full description in a PDF file which clearly states what I want. Here I will give a very brief description.
NOTE: Before you bid, make sure you download & read the attachment. **There are 5 questions in the document that you must read & answer before bidding.** If you do NOT answer these 5 questions with your bid, then I will not choose you as my coder.
This is to weed out all the people who bid without any understanding.
Ok. Basically I have a nokia e63 smart phone. It's symbian based. I also have an external bluetooth GPS receiver. Both of these items communicate well with each other so no problem there.
I need an application written on the phone in whatever language a symbian uses . I would prefer it to be written in the native symbian language (whatever that is) and not java. From experience it has sis files (I think)
The symbian application basically connects to the GPS , displays a few status on the symbian screen and updates the location every 30 seconds to my web server
The website part shows the user the current location of the symbian phone and converts the GPS co-ordinates in to a street address. It also shows the date & time of the update & the GPS co-ordinates, etc
All this is clearly stated with some screenshots also in the document. Download it if you are interested in doing this project.
