This should be a fairly simple vb6 project perhaps..
I would like a program that i can run in the folder that the files are contained in or that i can choose where to have it process the files from.
This will only be dealing with PSD files.
When i double click the icon to run the program it will have a couple options/buttons.
PSD Renamer
PSD Folder
I have a group of files (.psd files), that need to be renamed.
When i click the renamer button for the program it needs to ask me for a starting number (this will be an 8 digit number). They will need to follow the order of my product numbers. I put the in the 8 digit product id number *for example* 22222201. The program will then rename all of the files in that particular folder according to my product id format:
22222201
22222301
22222401
22222501
22222601
etc.
- as you can see, every product id number ends in "01". This is just the way it is and we do not want to change this! =)
Once this is complete it will pop up a box that says its done.
For the folder program, I need it to put the psd file in a folder that has the exact same 8 digits as the psd file.
For example
[url removed, login to view]
should be in a folder called:
22222201
This is all for this project. I appreciate your bids! If the actual coder needs test files, i have plenty. I would like to have this asap!
Im flexible with this program, so long as it works and saves me time thats what i need it for. Any suggestions are welcome.
