Bussiness and Website Goals
Rafiki is a Swahili word derived from Arabic, meaning a friend or comrade. [login to view URL] will be a social and dating network website, connecting people across Africa, East African per se to other world; coming from all walks of life, backgrounds, professions and ages who are looking to share love and or experiences
Market I expect: Specifically from those aged 13 to 50 years old, those wanting to connect with people in Africa
Registration process should be, free, quick and easy. Free access to all contents. **The site should be well laid and easy to navigate and this website to support at least 10,000 users at a time, and to support around 10,000,000 user profiles (database)**.
The user should be able to explain what he/she is looking like Dating, Long term relationship, Fun, seeking affairs, Discrete relationship, sexual encounters e.t.c. But also during registration we can add some questions like: Are you a sugardaddie/ sugarmommie?
For those who are looking for confidentiality it should be secure and even hide their extra curricular activities
There should two (2) kinds of profiles: 1. Excellent serious quality where you can meet quality singles which must have photos, meet over coffee shop, start something serious 2. and profiles with poor quality.
Members should be able to send invites to private social events, record voice greeting (if possible)
Members should be able to post photos (up to 4), browse potential soul mates, chat, IM, contact other members, receive and read emails from members, Reply emails from members, create their own personality profile, match compatibility and search for non compatibility
But also:As an administrator I should be able to block/unblock users, flood control, quick search and advanced search function, administration page which allows administrator to view member's profile, Ability to change user's profile picture(s), Ability to disable account, ability for user to notify other member that they are interested in them by click on an 'i'm interested in you' button. Once member does this, they appear in other user's account page in column showing all members interested in that user.
