The process of Tendering
I would like to add that the client is a Civil Engineering firm. It deals with construction of various structures, also providing consultation.
To acquire work, what they do is they a follow a system of tenders.
The process is they buy the tender document from the respective companies, they fill in the document with the required necessities and bid for the tender. Then, the bid is evaluated by the concerned firm & then the tender is awarded to respective firm.
Client requires that a system must be in place where-in they can check the status of the tenders. For eg. when was the tender document bought, what is happening with the required documents for that particular tender, is the process of gathering required documents is smooth or is stuck etc.
And the above said system must be accessed by director's. Else no can access as it will be password protected or whatever way it can be protected. So, that the director's can check and accordingly take action.
So, want to know that how is it possible to build, create such a system.
