Project Overview:
Simple Python script with a HTML front end to allow a user to upload a CSV list of “prompts” and have each one sent as a request to the OpenAI API.
The script should insert the result/text output from each row/prompt/request into column B of the CSV & then automatically download the updated CSV file for the user.
Final CSV should be renamed dynamically: daktari-{timestamp}.csv
Technical Requirements
- Server Type: Ubuntu 22.04
- Script Type: Python
- Script File Name: [login to view URL]
- Front End Type: HTML
- Front End Functionality:
- Input API Key into a text field
- Upload CSV File - CSV file template will be provided
- View Script Progress
- Success / Failed Message once script has finished
- Max Number of Records Limit for CSV: 2000
- Max Number of Concurrent Requests: 7
- Suitable Retry Logic Required: Yes
Process Flow
- Validate Input
- Check CSV is in the correct format
- Check CSV has no more than 2000 records
- Make Request to OpenAI API
- Return OpenAI API Response & insert into CSV
