164734 Membership Video Site

Forgive me for not specifying the languages...I would really rather leave that up to you. I want to develop a membership site where users pay for videos I produce (instructional videos on cad design). I want them to pay for access to streamed videos and maintain that access. Titles they have paid for should be indicated, and ones they have not should be visible but not playable. In either case, next to each title they should be able to play a brief free intro video. The cost of each video will be low, so although they could most likely devise a way to take and distribute the video, I will be worried as they are more likely going to just pay for them. I have found very few examples of sites such as this, as most ([url removed, login to view]) merely charge a periodic access rate, such as $25 per month. I want users to be able to see what they "own" and be enticed to access what they don't. I will need for the site to be somewhat flashy or the equivalent, as I find the dry visuals of most Drupal/Ruby/Flex sites unappealing for this purpose. I will want to be able to have the look and feet of a fun site. This initial project is for the actual video delivery section of the site and catalog, with user authentication and tracking. I myself, or you, later, as another project, will develop the site with forums, a blog, etc. I am mainly concerned now with the core functionality described here: users pay for videos, and can access those videos anytime they log in with live streaming. I will also allow the user to download the video as well in case they have a slow connection. I will provide lots of help with the layout and whatnot. I am somewhat infatuated with drag and drop, and though it is really not important at all, if there was a way to drop a movie into a cart and have the cart tote up the cost in real time, and be able to transact a credit card purchase via a pop-up, I would be very excited.
