I am seeking the creation of an auction website which will be run on a windows server so NO PHP. The auction site will have an ebay look and feel to it, the way it use to look. Also, the page must be cross browser/screen resolution compatible. The left, top of the page must contain a place for my site graphic. At the top right must be 5 click buttons containing Home, My, WEBSITE NAME, About Us, FAQ, and Contact. I would like the top of the page to be “separate” from the rest of the page but mesh well. I would like the top to have a gradient from a light blue faded to white with a small light gray bar at the bottom that the click buttons look like they belong to. I would like the registration/login (which also must be created and SECURE) on the left underneath the logo. Under registration/login I wish to have all website categories (and drop down menus if subcategories exist) and number of websites currently under that category listed beside it. I also want a search above the categories so if a buyer doesn't have a specific category in mind they can search for keywords from the websites or number of hits a website gets. The sellers of the website must be able to post a thumbnail of the website, website url, category, and number of hits monthly to the site, all kept in the database and directly uploaded onto the site in a uniform fashion once entered. If a buyer clicks on a website they like it must open a new window with the sellers name, feedback percentage of positive%, view sellers other sites and ask seller question on the right. Beside that to the left that must describe the site and give a bigger picture of the area of the website that is being bidded on and info of that nature. The user must have the capability to modify their “my WEBSITE NAME” data they have entered. At the top of the main page, yet under the banner, to the right of the categories, I would like featured websites, by featured I mean websites that have been are being “watched” by the most people, have the highest bids etc. and this must be updated automatically from the database as well, every week or when the auction ends. Under that on the home page I want white space so I can put my own ads. There must also be a way for a user to “watch” the item to see current bids and there must be a place to buy the item, just leave a place aside for that, I will choose my merchant and icon for it. The seller must be able to set the time limit and starting bid for the auction and also have a buy it now option. They must be able to specify if they are looking for text ads or banner ads and if so the amount of space and area on the webpage they are selling. They must have the functionality to say if the banner/text link will be rotated or static and for how long it will be on the site/how many impressions if rotated. When a buyer clicks a category it must open a new page containing that category and must have the same layout that the featured auctions on the main page has, also every page with the exception of the login/registration page MUST include the categories on the left. A site map must also be created and displayed in the footer and there must be a modifiable footer at the bottom of EVERY page. I would also like text links at the bottom of every page for easy navigation. I cannot stress enough that navigation through the site must be well planned out and easy to get where the user wants to be. I would like someone who has never used a computer before to be able the find their way around. The scripting must have EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS to go along with it also containing blocks in the source code telling what that specific part of the code does. There also must be documentation explaining the databases and the categories therein. There must be a backend administration panel where the databases and website can be easily managed. I would like the database to be created to where all I have to do it put in the db name, server name, etc. and the rest will take care of itself. In the databases I would like the following information collected and stored along with everything else stated above
• email address, physical contact information, and financial information, such as credit card or bank account numbers;
• transactional information based on activities on the sites (such as bidding, buying, selling, item and content you generate or that relates to your account);
• shipping, billing and other information you provide to purchase or ship an item;
• community discussions, chats, dispute resolution, correspondence through our sites, and correspondence sent to us;
• other information from interaction with our site, services, content and advertising, including computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the sites, ad data, IP address and standard web log information
