Breach of contact, mislead into signing a contact for $1500. I signed a contract with a matchmaking service. I had combined hour and a half conversation with the owner and one of the matchmakers (as they do with all prospective clients) for them to get to know me, what I’m looking for, what I’m not looking for and what my hard no’s are. The first two people I was set up with declined me because smoking was a hard no for them. I disclosed I was a smoker. Subsequent matches were with men that were exactly what I told them I am not looking for. The one date I went on, I discovered the person was not only still friends with his ex’s but the ex’s children as well. I made it clear, it was a deal breaker for me if a man is still in contact with his ex’s- except if they had children together. Not even a month in, I receive an email from the matchmaker -snippet attached.
