We are Griffin Kenya, an InsureTech Company based in Nairobi - Kenya.

We have a back-end that is built on top of NodeJS & PostgreSQL (with ExpressJS and KoaJS) and GraphQL pre-dominantly, using Postgraphile as the GraphQL. Our stack is micro-serviced, with most micro-services built as Docker Containers. Our stack is also powered by a Kafka Bus as an Event Bus.

We need someone who is very well conversant with NodeJS as well as GraphQL (Postgraphile preferred or general GraphQL experience is OK) and has worked with Enterprise Messaging on Kafka - to do maintenance and development work on our back-end, and can work with Docker.

The individual will need to be a team player working with the rest of our team to coordinate on efforts and meet regularly with us to do coordinate on plans.
