Transfer Photos To Digital Patterns

I need a set of tile designs to be made from photos of the traditional Cyprus lace patterns. I have attached a file of the tiles that need to be converted. They are not all great quality but please do your best.
I have also attached some examples of how others have already converted these lace designs to a graphic - I need something like this but in vector format as digital files. The technique where they have used small squares to recreate the design is what I am looking for. Many of the designs are repeated but slightly different so hopefully there will be a lot of easy copy pasting to achieve the goal.
To apply please pick the most simple and create it digitally then send - if you have got the right idea then the job will be awarded.
If you web serach/google 'Lefkara Lace' then you will see more examples of the designs - this might be useful for reference.
