Currently carrying out Business Review for 6 national and international entities in Afghanistan, the assignment included:  Review of the business strategy  Review of implementation of the business strategy  Review of the financial management processes and their effectiveness in supporting business  Review of the information systems and their effectiveness in supporting business  Review of the marketing processes and activities and their effectiveness in supporting business  Review of the oversight functions and their effectiveness in monitoring of the key activities  Review of the human resource capacity assess if the same is in line with the requirement of the business functions Carried out Compliance Review of 16 NGOs funded by Public Affairs Section of U.S. Embassy in Kabul the assignment included:  Reviewing the donor agreement, & checking to ensure that controls are in place that require adherence to it.  Assessing whether the existing controls are adequate and appropriate with respect to compliance with the donor guidelines  Obtaining an understanding of the current state of the procurement and financial systems  Conducting interviews with key individuals in the management  Undertaking an analysis of the existing framework, legislation, systems and procedures in place.
