I'm sure knowledgable in web development; however, this project went far above the budget being hourly - I wouldn't be comfortable working on an hourly project in the future with developer - I'm not sure how it accumulated like this for sometimes very small tasks. I'm still left with incomplete tasks (80% of brief) and bugs from works and in a position that I need to find another developer. I've reassigned the same project to another developer with same level of experience for $700 AUD vs the $3,200 that had accumulated in this project - so a bit of a difference. I contacted the developer to reasonable explore restructuring the project; however, after continued attempts to contact Freelancer and also requests to remove confidential material from their computer and/or backup devices, I haven't received a response (email, phone, Skype) - have had to approach Support to also follow up for me. With the disappearance, incomplete tasks and well over priced work I can't say a positive Freelancer experience - it could have turned out much better should developer have responded/ not disappeared and been open to discuss restructuring the project reasonably. So a word of concern for Yoka becoming non-responsive and the costs that I incurred from working on an hourly project and not seeing a tremendous result. I am welcome to chat with developer to reconsider the feedback left, but at this stage I haven't received anything back and can't rate communication/hire again high at all. [21 July, 2017] Yoka was experienced in coding; however, significant time was spent on tasks that other developers have now jumped on to resolve quicker. Initially set some times to be online and work on project together but this wasn't always the case - hourly project ended a large majority remaining on the brief as project went well over budget compared to working with others. In desperate position to now compete tasks for our critical deadline. Would hire again based on skills but have asked not to be an hourly project in future.
