Generalised Model of Optimum stractification allocation size and variance for linear...
International Journal of Science and Research
The problem of determining the optimum allocation are formulated as a generalized programming problem and solved using Lagrange multiplier technique to minimize the variance subject to a given cost. A generalized sample size and variance are derived and other factors. A secondary data obtained from National population Commission in 1991 was used for the purpose of numerical illustration.
Evaluation of Geographical Variation in Livebirth Registrations Using Bayesian Method
Communication in Statistics, Theory and Methods
The research examined the variation of live-birth registrations among the local governments in Ondo State. A secondary data was obtained from the National Population Commission and was analysed using spatial analysis which comprised of Poission regression model. The finding shows that Akure and Ondo are highly significant with live-birth registrations because of their consistency in year-in-year-out registrations.
