On my site I save the original video file and a converted flash version. I want to set the size of the converted flash, and to watermark the flash with a semi-transparent watermark. The mark should include my site name, and the uploader's username. In order to make the watermark uniformed on every video it may be necessary to re-size the flv unless you can use variable percentages to locate and size the watermark. It also includes the splash image I use as well. I've been using this method to send traffic to advertisers and other sites of mine for the last seven months. Hello! I have a flv clip for what I need some timepoint depending manipulations to the runtime. 1. The clip itsself contains an actor on a transparent background. To save bandwidth I want to use a background image managed by an actionscript instead of rendering the clip with that new background before converting it to flv. (obviously flash isn't able to recognize no changing areas in a clip for a good compression). The cam perspective is changing sometimes while the clip is playing so the background image must be changed out dynamically to given cue points.
