Hey, I am Christina Rusu, and I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. This city is a wonderland for a creative soul like myself, and from a young age, I found solace in writing about life, nature, animals, and food. Writing never seemed more than a hobby to me until I really focused on perfecting my research essays in high school and composing poetry to express myself. I finished my first year at University of Rochester, where I planned to major in biology, but I gradually came to the realization that humanities and writing are what makes me happiest, so I am in the process of figuring out what exactly I want to do. I did figure out that I want to publish a poetry book, and I'm working on finalizing the cover as we speak. I'm incredibly passionate about animals, in fact, I just passed my three year vegan anniversary. This lifestyle made me interested in environmental activism as well as research in nutrition. I hope to help in creating beautiful art from words.
